Requirements and Clan Rules

!! Read This Page Very Carefully !!

Joining the Jolly Rogers is fairly easy but we do have some requirements. Vets and active duty military, police, firefighters and sheriffs get priority over anyone else. You will need to talk to us in person and get to know us and make sure we are both a good fit. Are you new to World of Warships and never played before and want some free goodies to help you get started in the game? Click here. We use Discord for comms and you can download it here if you don't already have it installed. You can join MrExNavy's Discord with this link or copy and paste the link into your own discord to add the server channel to your Discord. MrExNavy is the CO of the clan. At this time Wargaming has not opened a web based clan registration for World of Warships yet. Clans were in closed beta for World of Warships until recently and the Jolly Rogers Gaming clan was in that closed beta so we are more established than most clans you will see in the game now. The only way to get into a clan during the closed beta was by invite only but is now open to all from within the game.

  • First thing you will need to do is so you can talk to us and let us know you would like to join Jolly Rogers Gaming.

  • You MUST have a headset with a mic and use it any time you are in game with us or in our Team Speak.

  • Next you MUST register here at the Jolly Rogers web site but DO NOT register until you have talked with us in Team Speak. No exceptions on this. If you fail to register at the Jolly Rogers web site, your clan application will NOT be approved. When you register here, you need to use the EXACT same name you use to play at Wargaming for World of Warships. You will be sent an email with an activation link that you must use to activate your account. Check your spam folder if you don't see the activation link in your main folder. After you have activated your account, notify MrExNavy or one of the site admins and one of them will go into the site admin and activate your profile so you can log in.

  • Next you will need to join our clan at Wargaming. MrExNavy will look at your app to add you into the clan there.

  • You must be a minimum of 17 years of age unless you are a family member of one of the clan members. If you have questions on the age restriction, you can talk to MrExNavy in Discord.

  • You must have at least one non premium tier VIII ship to be considered for entry to the clan.

  • The purpose of the clan is to play together as a team and you will be expected to take part in clan wars and skirmishes that will be scheduled. If you only wish to play co-op and have no intentions of playing clan wars, that is fine and you are welcome in the clan and hope you have a good time as a member of JRGC, however if we need to make room for members that wish to take part in clan wars, you may have your clan tags removed if we do not have enough spots to add them. You can still come in Team Speak and play with the other clan members but we need to put the needs of the clan first. You will also have the option to try out for a spot on the League team if Wargaming starts a league for World of Warships. League play is not clan wars and is entirely different and separate from clan wars.

  • If you are in game between 1200-2200 in your time zone, you MUST be in Team Speak as well. We have rooms set up for people while they are playing when they don't wish to be bothered while playing on their own but this also does not mean that you may come into Team Speak and mute your headset or disable your speakers just so you can avoid contact with the clan.

  • You must be able to take instruction and follow orders.

  • We have training available for those that feel their stats or skills are not up to par. When in game if it is noticed that you are having a tough time with knowledge or mechanics of the game or playing as part of a team, you may be asked if you would like to have some training. You can accept it or decline the offer. It is up to you. You can ask for training at any time and must follow the orders given during training and use that knowledge and training any time you are playing with any members of the clan whether it is in co-op, random or clan battles.

  • Are you a closed beta tester for World of Warships or World of Tanks? If you are that is great! We are looking for you. Lets us know in Team Speak. We will verify this info with Wargaming.

  • After you have talked to MrExNavy and been determined that you may be a good fit for the clan, you will be issued your clan tags.

  • These terms are subject to change at any time according to the needs of the clan. Failure to comply with any of the rules set forth here can result in dismissal from the clan.

Talk to MrExNavy to get help with this next part. If you have never played World of Warships or it has been over 3 months since you have played, follow this special invite link to register your account to get some free goodies from Wargaming after you have completed a few things in the game. If you also play on the EU server, click here to get the same goodies for your EU account. If you do not use these links to register your new World of Warships account, you will not get the free items listed below. Once registered as a new player, you will go through an intense training period in co-op battles and the training room. Once you have completed training and obtained at least one non premium tier VIII ship, you will be issued your clan tags. How fast this process is depends on you. If you are dedicated and play often and stick to one nation and class of ship, you can be in a tier VIII ship within a couple months. If you split your time with other nations and classes of ships, it can be a long process so the only question is how quick do you want your clan tags. It all depends on you.

Each newcomer registered through these links receives gifts that will make their first steps in the game easier and more enjoyable:
